At the end of February, 2011, the State of NJ sent out letters to "In Home" providers and Child Care Centers, notifying them of the upcoming E-Child Care System.  This electronic system will use a swipe card to record attendance for those families receiving subsidy assistance payments from the State for child care.  Family child care providers will need to have a LAND LINE PHONE and BANK ACCOUNT to accomodate the NJ E-Child Care system.  STATE OF NJ POSTPONES E-CHILD CARE START DATE TO JANUARY 2012.
